Disclaimer: This rating system is not about judging a game's overall quality by conventional metrics; Some of our personal favourite experiences didn't even make the cut at all. Below is a list of titles we've evaluated so far (we'll also release a full public excel sheet in the near future).
The Meaningful Game Rating is about helping players find games that provide value separate from conventional game 'fun'. We created 4 separate criteria representing qualities we think encapsulate those extra qualities we feel many are looking for in their game experiences, ourselves included:
Gamehand Conveyance: Does the game deliver its meaning and message through how it plays rather than through text blobs and audio diaries?
Narrative: Is the game delivering a lot of story?
Innovation: Is the game offering something new I probably haven't seen before?
Education: Am I taking away enriching (and preferably useful )knowledge and understanding from the experience?
